Three men from Kirkcaldy are to walk the Affric Kintail Way in Scotland’s Highlands to raise money for two charities in the town.
Tony Grubb, Ally Caldicott and Kevin Henderson hope to raise £2000 for Nourish Family Support Centre and Kirkcaldy Foodbank by tackling the 44 mile route in three days at the start of October.
Starting at Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness and finishing at Morvich in Kintail by Loch Duich, the trio will brave some of the harshest weather that Scotland has to offer.

You may have seen us when we took over the roundabouts in Kirkcaldy with Pete's man chat movement. Some of you may even have spotted Spiderman giving us a hand.
If you haven't heard of Pete's man chat movement then please go have a look at his Facebook page. All of us at Nourish think what he does is wonderful.
It's ok to not be ok.
Did you see us when you were shopping at Fife Retail Park? We had a few guests with us. Did you high fin Sid the Shark? Did you maybe hear Nelly the Elephant blow her trunk? Or did you get a photo with Skye and Marshall? Show us you photo's on Facebook.
Our Volunteers and service users have been doing there bit to raise funds for our new centre. Jason and Owen walked from Kirkcaldy to Anstruther and they smashed it. Diane from Deezigns by Diane help a garden sale fundraiser selling her jewellery. She raised a whooping £80! Volunteer Leah and her friend Page walked from Kirkcaldy to Burntisland to help raise funds. The girls did awesome, so did their support team Gavin who did the walk with the girls, well done too Gav!
We would like to thank every person who has contributed to our appeal for funds, so we can get a new centre. We are well on our way to hitting our target and thank you for all your continued support. The difference this centre will make to peoples lives is priceless. We could easily achieve that if everyone could donate £1.
